Polytechnic is an institution that improves skills within the students, with the primary aim of giving knowledge within numerous domains of engineering, which allows the ordinary students coming from lower-class society to pull off higher education at an inexpensive price. One such stigma is polytechnic, which gives access to the students belonging to the lower-class society, the easiest and cheapest mode of higher education in technical courses. The general citizens would assert that technical education reduces the benevolence of society. This could be reversed by giving entry to bigger dimensions of students who have to take part in a hierarchical culture. This was rolled out by establishing polytechnic educational institutions for the people of Kerala. With a resolution, the educational training for the polytechnic courses for the Commissioner of Basic Education started in 1951-52 under the leadership of Sri. V.K. Velayudhan, Secretary to the School Education.
